SUMMARY: After this historic building’s central core collapsed, EOP designed a complete renovation. Guided by the idea of transparency, the core was left open, with natural light flooding the building through perimeter windows and a massive skylight. Still an active academic building, Lincoln Hall is now a National Historic Landmark for its significance in the history of the U.S. civil rights movement, and was added as a stop on the U.S. Civil Rights Trail.
