Rocky Adkins Cuts Ribbon on The Rock

MOREHEAD, Ky., Nov 10, 2017 — Today, Morehead State University officially opened The Rocky Adkins Dining Commons, designed by EOP Architects, as namesake Rep. Adkins cut the ribbon.

“We are here to celebrate a facility that has changed the face of Morehead State University,” said MSU President Dr. Jay Morgan. MSU also thanked Jason Dunn, AIA, EOP associate and project manager, for “his professionalism, attention to details and, most important, listening, understanding and exceeding MSU expectations.”

The 25,000-square-foot dining facility, affectionately dubbed The Rock, seats approximately 250 and was built on the site of Waterfield Hall. In addition to the dining facility, an 85,000-square-foot parking garage is directly attached and accommodates 400 cars.
