LEXINGTON, Ky., February 13, 2017 — EOP Principal Brent Bruner is leading the design for Honeywood – A Ouita Michel Restaurant, the new 150-seat, 4,500-square-foot restaurant at The Summit at Fritz Farm opening in May 2017.
“Brent Bruner has done a stunning job with Honeywood,” comments owner Ouita Michel. “He’s brilliant and a joy to work with.”
Honeywood will be Michel’s largest restaurant and will feature table service, a stylish bar and food that will be fresh, locally sourced and creatively prepared with a strong nod to Kentucky’s food traditions.
Inside Honeywood, locally crafted reclaimed-wood table tops and wood floors are juxtaposed with soaring windows. “As with all our restaurants, we want our neighbors to feel a true sense of welcome and to know how grateful we are for their support,” Michel continues.
Honeywood is another collaboration between EOP Architects and award-winning interior designer Matthew Carter of Matthew Carter Interiors. The firms previously collaborated on The Apiary in downtown Lexington.
