Lexington Convention Center Expansion to Start in Spring 2017

LEXINGTON, Ky., April 19, 2016 — The state legislature gave final approval Friday for $60 million in state funding for the expansion and renovation of the Lexington Convention Center. The project is a collaboration between the Los Angeles office of NBBJ and EOP. As the Herald-Leader reports, much more needs to be done before construction can begin on the $250 million project, which will include a new 100,000-square-foot exhibit hall and additional meeting space.
