EOP Announces New Associates

LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY. December 16, 2022 — EOP Architects, an award-winning architecture and interior design firm with offices in Lexington and Louisville, today continues the announcement of promotions with six new Associates: Kelly Fink, Assoc. AIA (Lexington), Rachel Hinson, Assoc. AIA (Lexington), Ye (Leon) Jin, Assoc. AIA (Lexington), J. Tyler Kraft, AIA (Louisville), Joey McDaniel, Assoc. AIA (Lexington) and Lesley Thomas, IIDA (Lexington).

Kelly Fink, Assoc. AIA joined EOP in 2016 after completing his Master’s of Architecture at the University of Kentucky. His innate ability to be a leader leading through example and his positive attitude in anything that he is involved in has translated into him becoming a mentor for those around him.

Rachel Hinson, Assoc. AIA joined EOP in 2005 and has been a key Project Manager on many of EOP’s hospitality, education, and residential projects. Rachel has a sharp sense for detailing and employs a highly organized and diligent approach to all of the projects she manages. Teammates, clients, and even general contractors value her guidance in project execution while still maintaining the focus on protecting the design and ensuring the client values are always met.

Ye (Leon) Jin, Assoc. AIA joined EOP in 2014 after interning for Architect Rem Koolhaas and is a leader of the pack when it comes to technology and 3D visualization. Leon possesses immense graphic abilities and an eye for design pushes results to meet the higher standards that guide this firm.

J. Tyler Kraft, AIA joined EOP in 2016 after interning with the firm while earning his Master’s of Architecture from Arizona State University. His drive to do great things has translated into him being a catalyst for elevating the firm’s design response and execution beyond client expectations. He is always looking for the next challenge.

Joey McDaniel, Assoc. AIA joined EOP in 2013 with experience both in design and construction. Joey is known within EOP as the firm powerhouse when it comes to details and construction methods. He is a seasoned, well-rounded Project Manager with recent experience ranging from hospitality, higher education, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use projects.

Lesley Thomas, IIDA joined EOP in 2014 and is now EOP’s most senior Interior Designer. She possesses a strong ability to connect with every client and delivers design that is intentional, faithful, and relevant. Lesley has worked on a broad range of projects including hospitality, higher education, and private residences. All of her project responses are a skillful craft of storytelling to celebrate and reinforce the client’s identity and culture.
