SUMMARY:

As one of only two HBCUs (historically black colleges and universities) in the Commonwealth, Kentucky State University is securing its legacy by expanding student life facilities. CRM Companies with EOP Architects has been selected to develop the student housing project. The new residence hall includes three room options from a one-bedroom single occupancy room for resident advisers to 2- and 4-bedroom suites. The project provides a 12,000-square-foot dining facility for 300-350 students, an expansive lobby, study lounges, offices/workrooms, recreational space and a multipurpose classroom for a living-learning environment.
