Junior Achievement Day at EOP

On Feb. 28th, we hosted four awesome eighth graders from middle schools across Lexington. Each of these kids expressed interest in either architecture, interior design or 3D modeling/rendering. To qualify for Junior Achievement, each one had to write an essay on how they would use the job shadowing experience to shape their future.

This is the perfect age for the love of design and the act of creation to take hold of these kids–and EOP was happy to participate in that process.

Here’s a couple of pics with architect Derek Brooks talking about the LexHold facility, currently under construction at the University of Kentucky’s Coldstream Research Park (rendering below).

Holiday card wins advertising award

Known for artistic and sometimes kitschy Christmas cards, the EOP Marketing team was recently awarded an 2007 Silver ADDY award by the Lexington Ad Club.

“We like to use our holiday cards as a way to give everyone a little glimpse of what it’s like to work with EOP.”, says Nick Rice, Director of Marketing. He continued, “It’s a great way to show friends, clients and prospective clients how much we’ve grown from a staff perspective and how much we value creativity and innovative design. Our clients have come to expect something a little different from EOP.”
