Our History

In 1981, after working for architectural firms in Chicago, New York and Kentucky, Rick Ekhoff and Paul Ochenkoski founded the firm that evolved into EOP Architects. Richard Polk joined in 1984, bringing design skills, technical competency and management tools that resulted in a partnership position in 1989. In 2006, architect Brent Bruner and interior designer Chris Estes were promoted to partner. Each brings a unique area of specialization to the company, rounding out the overall management team and its ability to meet or exceed client expectations.
